For him there is no thought of anything as `this is mine` or `this is another`s`; not finding any state of ownership, and realizing, `nothing is mine,` he does not grieve.   (Sutta Nipata: 4. The Octet Chapter - 15.The Training - 951)
Introduction
Kushnagar is final resting place of our great teacher, Lord Buddha. Lord Buddha was born on the way, gave the   Dharma on the way and Passed away on the way.
Some of the Buddha`s last utterance before entering into parinirvana reflect the importance of our practice and proper motivation.

"..I say to you that these teachings of which I have direct knowledge and which I have made known to you — these you should thoroughly learn, cultivate, develop, and frequently practice, that the life of purity may be established and may long endure, for the welfare and happiness of the multitude, out of compassion for the world, for the benefit, well being, and happiness of gods and men."

(Digha Nikaya 16 , Maha-parinibbana Sutta, 1998, translation by Sister Vajira & Francis Story, 1998,  Buddhist Publication Society)
